Getting to know the content of "Our Lakes"

Objectives:

1. The student will become familiar with the content of the "Our Lakes" section of the www.kidfish.bc.ca website.

Materials Needed:

• Computers connected to the Internet
• Lakes Worksheet #I-2a and
  Lakes Worksheet #I-2b

Activity:

Have students work singley or in pairs. Hand out the "Lakes Worksheet #I-2a" and "Lakes Worksheet #I-2b"

Have students connect to the Internet and go to www.kidfish.bc.ca

Once the students have accessed the website, they should click on the "Our Lakes" button. After this they should follow the instructions on their worksheet.
