Explore the " Our Lakes" section of the website

Objectives:

1. The student will become familiar with the content and organization of the "Our Lakes" section of the www.kidfish.bc.ca website.
2. The student will be able to move to different areas of this section
3. The student will be able to access the links that have been set up
4. The student will be able to get back to the introductory page after exploring the linked areas.

Materials Needed:

• Computers connected to the Internet
• Lakes Worksheet #I-1

Activity:

Have students work singley or in pairs. Hand out the "Lakes Worksheet #I-1"

Have students connect to the Internet and go to www.kidfish.bc.ca

Once the students have accessed the website, they should click on the "Our Lakes" button. After this they should follow the instructions on their worksheet.
