Explore the "The Fishes" section of the website

Objectives:

1. The student will be able to access the fish anatomy diagram and the larger images of the various fish found on www.kidfish.bc.ca
2. The student will be able to name the categories that fish information has been organized under.
3. The student will be able to find information about the fish that is found under the various categories.

Materials Needed:

• Computers
• Fishes Worksheet #I-1

Activity:

Have the students work singly or in pairs. Hand out the "Fishes Worksheet #I-1 "

Have the students connect to the internet and go to www.kidfish.bc.ca

Once students have accessed the website, they should click on the "Fishes" icon. After this they should follow the instructions on their worksheet.
