Explore the "Aquatic Fish Foods" section of the website

Objectives:

1. The student will be able to access the various images that are linked to the "Aquatic Fish Foods" section of www.kidfish.bc.ca
2. The student will be able to name the categories that the Aquatic Fish Food information has been organized under.
3. The student will be able to find information about the Aquatic Fish Foods that is found under the various categories.

Materials Needed:

• Computers
• Aquatic Fish Foods Worksheet #I-1

Activity:

The following task can be arranged to be done at home, at school over a period of time or a combination of the above. Students can work singly or in pairs. Hand out the "Aquatic Fish Foods Worksheet #I-1"

Have the students connect to the internet and go to www.kidfish.bc.ca

Once students have accessed the website, they should click on the "Aquatic Fish Food" icon. After this they should follow the instructions on their worksheet.
