A look at the Geological history

Objectives:

1) The student will be able to illustrate the sequence of major geological events that produced the British Columbia landscape

Materials Needed:

• Computers connected to the Internet
• Environment Worksheet #S-1

Activity:

Have students work singly or in pairs. Hand out the Environment Worksheet #S-1.

Have the students closely read and examine the “Our Landscape” part of the Environment section of www.kidfish.bc.ca

Ask students to illustrate the described sequence on “Environment Worksheet #S-1
